In the morning of March 29, 2019, Dr. Abdulaziz Mohamed Al-Horr, Director of Diplomatic Institute, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State of Qatar, who is visiting China at the invitation of the State of Qatar Chair in Middle Eastern Studies at Peking University (QCMES-PKU) during March 27-30, 2019, paid a visit to International Department, Central Committee of CPC (IDCPC), and held a meeting with Mr. ZHANG Jianwei, Deputy Director-General, Bureau of West Asia and North Africa.

In the evening of March 29, Dr. Al-Horr attended the welcome banquet hosted by H.E. Mr. Sultan S. Almansouri, Ambassador of Qatar to China in the Qatari Embassy in Beijing. Dr. WU Bingbing, Chair Professor of QCMES-PKU, Deputy Director of Department of Arabic Language and Culture, SFL-PKU also attended the activities.
