Dr. Randa Slim, senior fellow at the Middle East Institute visited Peking University

 

On May 29, 2019, Dr. Randa Slim, senior fellow at the Middle East Institute in Washington DC, visited Peking University. She held a meeting with Prof. FU Zhiming, Deputy Dean, School of Foreign Languages,and delivered a lecture about trends in middle East politics for the post-graduate students and doctoral candidates from School of Foreign Languages. Dr. WU Bingbing, Deputy Director of Department of Arabic Language and Culture, SFL-PKU, Chair Professor of the State of Qatar Chair in Middle Eastern Studies at Peking University (QCMES-PKU) attended the meeting.

 

 

Dr. Randa Slim is a senior fellow at the Middle East Institute in Washington DC, and is a non-resident fellow at the Foreign Policy Institute of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). She works and publishes on regional and international issues of the Middle East with an emphasis on Lebanon, Syria and Iraq.  

 

 

Dr. Randa Slim is currently visiting Beijng during May 26-31, 2019, at the invitation of QCMES-PKU. She held meetings with Chinese scholars, as well as delivering a lecture at Institute of International and Strategic Studies, Peking Univrsity (IISS).
