Delegates from "Into Middle East" , Peking University, visited Bank of China in Russia on August 20, 2019. The delegation was led by Dr. Fu Zhiming (Deputy Dean, School of Foreign Languages, Peking University; The Sultan Qaboos Chair Professor in Arabic Studies; Director of Middle East Studies Center) and Dr. Wu Bingbing (Deputy Director of Department of Arabic Language and Culture, SFL-PKU, Chair Professor of the State of Qatar Chair in Middle Eastern Studies at Peking University). There, they were welcomed by Vice President Du Qingzhi and Manager Lu Mengchu of the bank.

Mr. Du introduced the history of branch of Bank of China in Russia, its main business and related competitive advantages within the industry. During the Q&A session, Delegates raised a number of questions including the situation of RMB internationalization and energy cooperation between China and Russia.
