Peking University “Into Middle East” Delegation visited Center for Middle Eastern Studies (ORSAM) on  August 27, 2019 in Ankara, Turkey. Dr. Fu Zhiming (Deputy Dean, School of Foreign Languages, Peking University; The Sultan Qaboos Chair Professor in Arabic Studies; Director of Middle East Studies Center) was among the delegates.

Dr. Ahmed Uysal, Director of ORSAM, together with Iraq Studies Coordinator Dr. Bilgay Duman and Levant Studies Coordinator Dr. Oytun Orhan welcomed the delegation. 

The delegates and analysists at the Center exchanged academic opinions about nation building in the Middle East, Kurdish autonomy in Iraq and other heated issues in the region.
