On July 25, 2020, the Seminar on “Situation and Developments in the Middle East” was held successfully at Peking University. The Seminar was organized by State of Qatar Chair in Middle Eastern Studies at PKU in cooperation with Department of Arabic Language and Culture and Middle East Studies Center of PKU, and was attended by young scholars from different universities and research institutions, who held in-depth discussion about the current situation in the Middle East and the future developments of the region.

Prof. Fu Zhiming, Deputy Dean of School of Foreign Languages at PKU, Dr. Wu Bingbing, Deputy Director of Department of Arabic Language and Culture, Chair Professor of State of Qatar Chair in Middle Eastern Studies at Peking University, attended the Seminar.
