In the morning of June 6th , 2021, Professor Cheng Tong, Dean of School of Asian and African Studies of Shanghai International Studies University, delivered a lecture about the indigenous and foreign elements in the Iranian Culture to the graduate students of Department of Arabic Language and Culture of Peking University.

Professor Cheng explained the interaction between indigenous elements and foreign elements in the Iranian culture. The lecture was hosted by Dr. Wu Bingbing, the State of Qatar Chair Professor in Middle Eastern Studies at PKU and Director of Middle East Studies Center of Peking University.
